Books. All 4 of us love to read. It is yet to be determined if Julianna loves it as much:) I like fiction, parenting books, cookbooks (still waiting on those to inspire me), books on special needs, and so on. Sean reads anything about theology. Well, not anything, but lots of post-modernism, anything controversial, books on change, living out your faith, books on business, and the list goes on. We have lots of boy books. (Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Lord of the Rings…) It does a mom’s heart good to see her kiddos reading. They also like video games and candy. Oh well.
Coffee. We love coffee. And coffee shops. (why????)
Starbucks, to be exact. In Korea, Ediya wins. It’s better and they will almost customize. It’s expensive, it’s a habit, but it’s very tasty. We used to be Starbucks snobs but Korea has changed us. And Sean now loves bubble tea.
Authenticity. Such an important trait. We try, we are not always successful. It’s not always popular.
True religion. Love, service, changing ourselves for the better. It’s a constant chase. James 1:27… Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
Matthew 12:30-31 … Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength…love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.
Discovering new places. Oh, the places you will go. LOVE, love, love to travel. Road trips, short trips, long trips– trips, trips, trips!
You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes
You can steer yourself
any direction you choose.
You’re on your own. And you know what you know.
And YOU are the guy who’ll decide where to go.
